The registration route
DNO’s published supplier guidance directs companies seeking to supply its Kurdistan operations to register with the Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR). Its reference to Magnet JQS concerns Norway and the UK, not the Kurdistan supplier route.
MNR company registration and listing on an activity-specific Approved Vendor List (AVL) are separate. The published company categories distinguish Local and Foreign companies by ownership and KRG corporate registration. The special Foreign Supplier category is a separate, restricted route.
That special category is for companies without a KRG corporate registration certificate that supply Premium Supply products from abroad as manufacturers or sole licensed traders for a manufacturer covering Kurdistan or a wider area. It does not allow on-ground services. Eligibility therefore depends on both your company and the work proposed.
Illustrative example: a qualifying manufacturer supplying products from overseas and a company sending technicians to a site near Zakho need different route assessments. Adding on-site work changes the question; foreign incorporation alone does not establish Foreign Supplier eligibility. Review the MNR registration and AVL distinction and, where local presence is needed, discuss company setup. This example is not a client case.
Who this is for
- Foreign manufacturers or authorised suppliers assessing overseas supply to DNO’s Kurdistan operations.
- Foreign service companies considering work inside the region, including the Zakho area.
- Local or foreign companies already registered with MNR reviewing their activity-specific listing.
Your ownership, local presence, supply activity and actual buyer request determine which questions need resolving before registration work begins.
What Keybridge handles
Keybridge reviews the intended supply and registration position with you, prepares the agreed supplier information and coordinates submission where you authorise us and the receiving channel permits. You review and approve the information before submission; we follow up on requested clarifications within the agreed scope.
For foreign companies building a wider market presence, commercial representation can be discussed as a separate engagement. We agree what coordination is needed rather than treating every supplier as requiring the same local structure.
Our support is independent of DNO and MNR. MNR determines registration and AVL decisions; DNO retains supplier screening and procurement decisions. Neither registration nor our support promises acceptance, tender invitations or contracts. Any tender response remains subject to your approval and submission.
