What the MNR vendor list is

MNR company registration and Approved Vendor List (AVL) listing are separate stages. The published 2016 instructions describe registration as the first stage and AVL listing as approval to perform specified services. Registration alone does not establish that a company is listed for every activity.

MNR’s published Foreign Supplier category applies to companies without a KRG corporate registration certificate: manufacturers or sole licensed traders for a manufacturer for Kurdistan or a wider area, supplying Premium Supply products from abroad. It does not permit services on the ground. The portal distinguishes this category from foreign companies working inside the region.

Check the official MNR registration portal, OSC categories, AVL catalogue and 2016 registration and AVL instructions for the route relevant to your activity.

Who this is for

  1. Overseas manufacturers or suppliers with a defined product and target buyer.
  2. Foreign service companies considering work inside the Kurdistan Region.
  3. Companies already registered with MNR assessing a specific AVL category.

Eligibility depends on the company, activity and applicable category. The current application requirements and authority assessment determine the route; an enquiry does not establish eligibility.

What being on it opens

  • Clarity on the company-registration and AVL stages relevant to your plans.
  • A registration focus tied to the products or services you intend to supply.
  • Coordination of the registration work included in the agreed scope.
  • Related routes: operator vendor registration and the KRG Approved Suppliers Center. Their requirements are assessed separately.

Support for your registration

Keybridge reviews your intended activity, existing registrations and target buyers, then agrees the scope of registration coordination. MNR retains its registration and listing decisions. Operator registration, tender invitations and awards are separate decisions.

If your plans also involve a local presence or ongoing market support, discuss company setup or commercial representation as a separate agreed scope.
