ISO Certification
How long does ISO certification take in Iraq?
Preparation and certification are separate stages. The schedule depends on the standard, company size, existing procedures, available records and the certification body’s audit arrangements.
The preparation schedule starts with your existing system
Keybridge reviews the buyer’s requirement, your company’s activities, sites and any current certificate. We assess the procedures and records already available, identify gaps and agree the preparation work.
We prepare the agreed documentation. Your team confirms responsibilities, puts the procedures into use and provides evidence of how the work is managed. See ISO 9001 certification preparation for the quality-management standard.
Bring the requirement and the deadline
Start with the buyer’s requirement, target deadline, company activities and any existing certificate. We then identify the procedures, records and responsible contacts needed to assess readiness.
The preparation schedule is agreed after that review. A tender deadline does not remove the need for a working management system or the certification body’s assessment.
More than one standard may share a management system
Your company may be able to manage compatible requirements in one system. We review the standards and scope together before defining the preparation work.
The certification body confirms its audit arrangements. An integrated system does not by itself establish the number of audit days or visits.
The certification body controls the assessment and decision
Keybridge prepares your company for assessment. An independent certification body conducts the certification assessment and decides whether to issue a certificate. ISO develops the standards; it does not certify companies.
The schedule reflects your readiness, the agreed scope, the body’s audit arrangements and any findings that need to be addressed.
Check what the buyer requires at submission
Read the instructions, amendments and relevant annexes to establish whether a valid certificate is required at submission and which standard, scope and issuing body the buyer accepts. If anything is unclear, use the buyer’s clarification process.
Preparation documents do not replace a required certificate unless the buyer explicitly accepts that alternative. See the checks to make before a tender submission.
Start with the company, the requirement and the date
Tell us what your company does, which certificate the buyer requested and the target date. We assess what is already in place and identify risks to the schedule.
