Do we need to be on a vendor list to bid in Iraq?
The buyer’s current instructions determine whether supplier registration is required before bidding. Start with the company you want to supply and the relevant opportunity, rather than assume one registration opens every tender in Iraq.
Identify the buyer and the opportunity
An operator, contractor or public authority may use its own registration and qualification process. Check the current route, whether applications are being accepted and any category relevant to your products or services. Registration and eligibility for a particular tender are separate checks.
Distinguish open notices from invitations
Where an opportunity is invitation-only, confirm how the buyer admits suppliers and communicates invitations. Do not assume that an operator never publishes open notices based on an older description. Our registration routes provide starting points for the buyer-specific review.
Build the requested application
Use the receiving body’s checklist. Company registration, financial records, certifications, safety information and previous work may be relevant, but one fixed pack does not answer every route. Record missing evidence before preparing the application.
Check the certificate and the renewal conditions
If a standard is requested, check its scope and the buyer’s acceptance criteria before arranging certification preparation. Record registration and document dates separately. Any renewal support must be included in the agreed work.
